First aid

You must report any incident resulting in an injury – or a near-miss injury – to your academic supervisor so a record can be made.

Every lab has a first aid box and eye wash stations and emergency showers are available on each floor.

No laboratory work can be considered risk-free, but risk assessments and other measures have been taken to ensure that each practical class is as safe as it can be. 

Every individual is responsible for their own health and safety and must observe safe laboratory practices at all times.
